The head spa is the fastest-growing service on most salon menus and the easiest to do badly. Done well it is a clinical scalp treatment wrapped in an hour of genuine rest; done badly it is an expensive shampoo.
This short programme teaches you to read a scalp, choose a blend for it, and deliver pressure work that actually relieves tension rather than tickling. Theory runs online in the first week so studio time stays entirely hands-on.
What you will learn
- Scalp analysis: oil balance, flaking, sensitivity and when to refer on
- Blending essential oils safely for scalp use
- Pressure-point and lymphatic massage sequences
- Micro-mist steam and double-cleanse protocols
- Structuring a 45 and a 75 minute version of the ritual
- Rebooking rhythm and take-home prescribing
